T4500 - Tact-Array Distributed Pressure Measurement System
| Our latest system, the T4500 offers programmable reconfigurability to handle any TactArray sensor configuration without requiring factory re-tuning or adjustment. USB power allows portable operation with a laptop battery configuration. The T4500 can currently support up to 1024sensing elements and sample at up to 10kHz element-to-element. The scan rate for the entire sensor can be estimated by dividing the element-to-element sample rate by the total number of elements in the tactile array. |

T4500 Key Features and Benefits:
- Small and portable.
- USB 2.0 power connection (eliminates need for seperate electrical power source).
- Drives any PPS TactArray Sensor (via software config).
- 32 x 32 capacity.
- Supports multiple types of auxiliary I/O (AI, AO, DIO, UART, SPI, I2C)
- Hardware synchronization for parallel scanning of larger arrays
- Integrated real-time thermal compensation
TactArray Chameleon TVR 2012 Software
The newly released TactArray Chameleon TVRTM 2012 (Tactile Visualization and Recording Software) expands the capabilities of previous Chameleon versions with improved performance, additional features, and support for new, enhanced hardware.
This new updated software lets users view video and tactile pressure data from multiple PPS sensor systems simultaneously and tactile pressure data is shown in one or more formats such as line trace, 2D, and mesh plots, in a consistent, simple, and intuitive user interface.
Turn the system on and a color-enhanced image in the shape of the sensor displays on the PC screen immediately. The image can be viewed as a 2D color map or 3D contour map. For custom-molded sensors, sensor data can be viewed as a 3D color map of the pressure data in the shape of the object to which it is molded. Viewing controls allow for rotating, panning, and zooming in on your pressure data.
Need to see it again? TiVo®-like options allow for reviewing and saving or deleting data from the earlier part of the test while real-time measurement recording continues.
TactArray Chameleon TVR 2012 also supports synchronized video input for matching tactile data with actual use scenarios. The software calculates and displays maximum pressure, average pressure, total force, and contact area over either the entire sensor or a selected region. The raw or calibrated data can also be exported in ASCII text format for further processing in programs such as Excel®, MATLAB® and Mathcad®.
