Drive and Interface Electronics
Pressure Profile Systems' high-performance drive electronics were developed to reliably detect the tiny changes in capacitance required to deliver the outstanding resolution made possible by the PPS sensor design. These proprietary circuits can detect capacitance changes of less than 4 thousandths of a picofarad.
Powered by an on-board microprocessor, our multiplexing signal conditioning electronics can scan through sensor arrays at speeds of more than 10kHz, while our discrete element electronics provide continuous throughput at a bandwidth of over 1kHz.
Our OEM sensors are driven by a custom IC with an I2C or SPI interface
