OEM Solutions

PPS has successfully integrated tactile sensing technology into a variety of devices, such as medical devices, consumer electronics, and robotics. Our technical team possesses many years of experience in designing and implementing OEM solutions for a wide range of applications.

PPS, in collaboration with its Korean manufacturing partner, Hi-Dis, has already developed tactile sensing technologies for mobile phone displays. These technologies have been adapted by LG mobile for their BL-20 phone and have been produced at 250,000 units per month.

In addition, PPS sensors have been successfully embedded into numerous medical devices as well as other products. These highlighted stories are described in further details in the case studies links to the right.

Consequently, PPS engineers have experience with CE, UL, CSA as well as other regulatory bodies around the world and understand the challenges of FDA, cGMP, EMI/EMC/ESD, bio-compatibility and environmental testing.

PPS technology employs numerous materials and technology platforms to best match your requirements, and our electronics are highly adaptable and can be integrated via standard protocols such as USB, I2C, SPI, Bluetooth, ANT wireless, or even analog voltages.

Prototyping and pilot runs can be conducted in an efficient and flexible manner, and if your needs require mass production, our simple designs allow our manufacturing partners to produce sensors in high volume at competitive costs.
