PPS' Dynamic Tire Tread Measurement System (DTTMS) is a high-speed industrial array sensor used for capturing static or dynamic tire tread pattern pressures during quality control testing or tread design analysis. The sensor accommodates a full-sized automobile tire and is designed to handle even the extreme shear forces generated during testing on shakers. The system's 200Hz scan rate accurately captures the distributed tire tread pressures in real-time and while in motion. PPS' DTTMS is mounted to an industrial strength platform which can be attached to other equipment or used in the field simply on the ground or floor.
